How to calculate cost per treatment
Cost per treatment = Σ (unit cost of item × units used per treatment). Unit cost is the pack price divided by units per pack, plus your share of freight and duty if you import directly.
Worked example for one facial, using illustrative unit costs chosen only to show the calculation — they are not ZEFU prices or market averages:

Storage and stock rotation
Keep packs sealed until use. Store towels, pads and sheets in their original bags, off the floor, in a dry room away from product spills.
First in, first out. Mark the delivery date on cartons and use older stock first; record batch numbers so you can trace any complaint.
Dispense, don’t display. Open boxes in treatment rooms collect dust; use closed dispensers for rolls, pads and swabs.
Separate retail and back-bar stock. Items you resell to clients should stay in retail packaging with intact labels.

When you resell disposables or print your own packs, describe them accurately — “single-use”, “individually packed”, “100% cotton” where a fiber test supports it — and avoid “sterile” or “medical-grade” unless the product is validated and registered for that use.

For facials: bed sheets or table covers, face towels, headbands, cotton pads, cotton swabs and gloves; optionally compress pads. Body treatments add disposable bath towels and briefs.
Q2How much do disposables cost per facial?+
It depends on your items and prices. Add up unit cost × units used for each item; in our illustrative example a facial used about US$0.36 of disposables.
Q3Are disposable towels cheaper than laundering cloth towels?+
It depends on local labour, water and laundry costs. Compare the disposable cost per use with the full cost of washing, drying and replacing cloth towels in your spa.
Q4Can I buy spa disposables under my own brand?+
Yes. Distributors and spa chains can order sheets, towels, briefs and pads with their own branding from a factory, subject to MOQs.
Q5How much safety stock should a spa keep?+
Two to four weeks of usage if you import directly, more before long holidays at the factory. If you buy from a local distributor with stock, one to two weeks is usually enough.
Q6Which disposable sheet is best for oil massage?+
A waterproof-breathable laminated sheet stops oil soaking through to the table cover; plain spunbond sheets are fine for facials and lash treatments.
