Plastic-stem cotton swabs have been banned in the EU since 3 July 2021 and in England since 1 October 2020; paper, bamboo and wooden sticks are not affected. We therefore supply only non-plastic sticks:

Bamboo sticks — rigid and smooth; popular for natural-look packaging Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615).

The three most common swab complaints are cotton coming off the stick, sticks that bend or split, and loose fibers. We check each batch for:
Tip adhesion — the cotton is wound and fixed so it does not slide off when twisted (ultrasonic thermal bonding & tight hydroentanglement).
Stick strength — paper sticks hold their shape in normal use; wooden and bamboo sticks are smooth with no splinters.
Tip shape and size — consistent across the pack, measured against the approved sample.
Cleanliness and count — no dark specks or foreign fibers; counts checked per pack.
