A typical bilingual label carries: product name, size, piece count, fiber content, country of origin (“Made in China / صنع في الصين”), importer name and address, batch number and production date Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615). We lay out Arabic text right to left and send a print proof for approval.
Modest packaging design
Show products flat, folded or as line drawings rather than photos of people; this matters most for briefs.
Use opaque or printed pouches for underwear, so kits can be handed out discreetly.

Which approvals apply in Saudi Arabia depends on each product’s HS code and its claims, so check every product before the first shipment. These notes are guidance, not certification advice; confirm with your customs broker or a SABER service provider.
SABER (SASO): products covered by a technical regulation need a Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) and a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) for each shipment; since 2025, undertaking letters are no longer accepted for clearance. Textiles and clothing fall under SASO’s textile technical regulation, which requires test reports from ISO 17025 laboratories (e.g. formaldehyde and azo dyes). Whether disposable nonwoven towels and briefs are in scope must be checked by HS code on SABER Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615).
SFDA: cosmetics such as wet wipes need notification in SFDA’s system (GHAD/eCosma) and a certificate of conformity before arrival.
