Q1How do we keep cotton pads lint-free?+
We keep loose fibers inside the pad. Our 3-layer pads wrap a cotton core between two bonded outer layers Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615), edges are pressed or fully sealed, and embossing locks surface fibers in place. No cotton pad is lint-free in an absolute sense; in the trade, “lint-free” means no visible fibers left on the skin in normal use. Lint test method and result: Verified Factory Spec.
Q2Double-sided pads+
Double-sided pads have a smooth side for applying toner and a textured side for wiping off makeup. They are the usual format for “dual-effect” makeup remover pads, and we make them in round and square shapes with sealed edges Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615).

Most of our cotton pads are 100% cotton or a cotton–viscose blend Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615). 100% cotton absorbs well and stays strong when wet. Blends cost less and feel silkier. 100% viscose and lyocell make thin, smooth pads that use less toner.

Cotton pads sold in the EU need a fiber composition label.

Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011 on textile fibre names exempts disposable articles from fibre labelling (Annex V, item 35), but it excludes wadding from that exemption, and cosmetic cotton pads are wadding. The UK keeps the same textile labelling rules.
Label fiber content with the fiber names the Regulation allows, for example “100% cotton”, or each fiber with its percentage for blends.
“Bamboo” alone is not an accepted fiber name; pads made from bamboo pulp are labelled “viscose”.
Under the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988, cotton pads also need an EU-based responsible economic operator, and manufacturer details must appear on the product or online listing.

Q1What is the difference between cotton pads and cotton rounds?+
Cotton rounds are round cotton pads. “Cotton pads” is the broader term for pressed cotton pieces in any shape — round, square, oval or large square — while “cotton rounds” is the common US retail name for the round ones, usually 5–6 cm across. Both are made the same way, from the same fibers.
Q2Are your cotton pads 100% cotton?+
Many are, but not all. Our salon squares, double-sided rounds and permanent-makeup pads are 100% cotton Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615); other pads are cotton–viscose blends or 100% viscose, which cost less. Every quote states the exact fiber content, backed by a fiber test report (SGS Report CANWT00472237).
Q3How do you make cotton pads lint-free?+
We lock the fibers in. Our pads use 3-layer construction with bonded outer layers Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615), pressed or fully sealed edges, and embossing that binds the surface. 100% cotton and lyocell pads shed the least. Q7Do cotton pads need fiber labelling in the EU?+
Yes. Cotton pads count as wadding under Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011, so the Annex V exemption for disposable articles does not apply and fiber composition must be on the label. We print it in your languages.
Q8Can you pack 1,000-piece salon bags?+
Yes. We already pack 1,200-pad bags of 100% cotton squares and 1,000-pad boxes of thin pads Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615), and can pack 500 or 1,000 pads per bag under your label Verified (Intertek Audit CNIR2601SZ10615). Bulk bags ship in export cartons of Verified Factory Spec.
Q9Can I throw cotton pads in the toilet?+
No. Cotton pads do not break apart like toilet paper and can block pipes and sewers, so they belong in the trash. We do not make flushable claims for cotton pads and recommend printing “Do not flush” on every pack.
Q10What are the different types of cotton pads?+
Cotton pads differ by shape (round, square, large square, oval, diamond), construction (single-layer, double-sided, 3-layer sandwich, sealed edge) and fiber (100% cotton, cotton–viscose blend, viscose, lyocell). Thin pads save toner, thick pads suit makeup removal, and large squares suit salon treatments.
